a report on my day at school. (:
school was quite okay today. (: had first 3 periods break.. AS USUAL. (: soent it in the reading room, poor nick was so tired he fell asleep after looking through his spa notes. my class drop-econs-people were having a whale of a time in the reading room la. hahahs! they were trying out all sorts of psycho motor skills tricks. oooh. i mastered one of them. jun gang was hilarious i tell you. (:
chem spa was.. yucky. i fell asleep while doing the paper. sigh. apparently.. i wasn't the only one. there were several in my class who were nodding off too. and after school, teng jin said he was sleepy during the paper too.. hahas.. so it's not only me. (: had math test today, was informed of it but forgot. shoots. i'm so gonna fail. don't like haridresser's math. perm and comb. YUCKS.
after school was fun fun fun! we watched the cheerleading videos over and over again. wahhas.. but the most fun part was playing minesweeper in LT4 with tengjin. hahahs.. YOU STILL OWE ME AND GEORGIA A TREAT MR LIM TENG JIN. (: hahahs.. he didn't believe me when i told him hat the square contained a mine. he insisted on clicking it. georgia played along and we said.. you click it and you'll owe us a treat. (: hahahs.. and sure enough.. it WAS a mine. (: wooohooo. (: treat.. (: yay! then georgia and the rest left. leaving me and tengjin and mark banging away on the piano.. had fun all the same. left with tengjin.. was supposed to go dinner with him, but decided not to in the end. went back to school and stayed with mark in the library till he went for idol and i had to rush home to get dinner for the guests of my house. namely my aunt, gramma and maid. ha. and so i missed my dinner treat.
i think i'm starting to get naive. not that it's a bad thing.. but yea. why do things have to turn out this way? why do i want so badly to believe you can change but yet you turn around and bite me? SIGH. i don't know what to believe anymore. aat least not in humans.

WE ARE THE [CHEERLEADING] CHAMPIONS, MY FRIENDS..
oh my mama! today was awesome i tell you! A-W-E-S-O-M-E! i haven't had so much fun in a long time. today was THE day. (: the day of truth. when the results would show if our efforts paid off. if our obsession over cheerleading was worth it. if i got punished for coming home one hour late from extra cheerleading practice was for nothing. if i skipped dinner to sort out formations with the rest was in vain..
we really gave it our all today. no matter how much we practised, the real thing is always different. i mean.. when we ran out there.. it was like. WHOA. the crowd was cheering madly [or so i heard.] prolly cos of tengjin and nicholas doing cartwheels and awesome flips and what-not. (:
okay.. i'm not gonna bore you with my account of the cheerleading routine. but basically it was very very good. the stunts were rather coordinated and the crowd was like.. "WOW". we heard them from the track la! it was simply.. AWESOME. (:
anyways.. i gtg.. update more next time.

OUCH.
i'm aching. all over. from cheerleading stunts. ARGH. can't take it anymore. jia cun's so darn strong, he's crushing my rib cage! now i can't cough or sneeze or laugh or do anything that would cause my rib cage to vibrate or expand or whatever cos it's just hurting so bad. i pray i don't get hiccups. that'll be the ultimate..
teng jin's a real nice and funny guy. (: he doesn't seem to have the airs of a ri boy, really friendly and all. i think. cool cos he's a gymnast and he does stunts like nobody's business.. cartwheel flip flip cartwheel.. well. you get the idea. toe touches, herkies.. you name it, he and nicholas do the stunts effortlessly. gosh. i'm so jealous. oh yes. i just remembered. i'm so sorry nicholas for landing on you. still feel real guilty. that i erm.. inflicted a chest injury on you? yup yup. sorry.. mmm.. think you and tengjin are doing a real good job. hees! (:
thanks to all the choir people who wrote warm fuzzies for me.. they really brought smiles to my face.. from hannah's "stay halal.." to jasper's warm fuzzy that was basically crap [ now i know how you smoke through your arts papers.. not very good though. haha!].. it was all nice. liked zhixiong's. was really touching. thank you all of you. okays.. one more.. it happened in class.. i lent hoongta my choir shirt cos he wanted to go raiders but needed a non-school-uniform shirt. when he took it, he was like.. wah! the smell so strong! and the guys were like.. what smell? and hahahs.. his reply was hilarious.

tim brought something up that i thought might be interesting to those catholics and religious critics out there. he said that in the past, when catholicism was a national religion [well sort of], they introduced confession originally to know exactly what the people were doing and how they felt and stuffs, so that they could have a better control of the country and the peoples. mmm.. not saying that it is absolutely right, but it does sound like a reasonable argument to me. but i know that catholics would argue that the priests are sworn to secrecy.. but don't you wonder if the priest one day leak out some of your confessions? like.. accident or not.. i don't know. we wouldn't know if they told anyone right? yea i've heard of stuff where the priest refuses to cooperate with the police to nab a criminal through a "trick" confession cos or the oath of secrecy.. but still. i can't help but wonder.. oh wells.
hahahs.. anyways.. wanna tell all those who've been there for me this year that hey.. you guys really rock. thanks for being there for me when i was down and out. thanks for believing in me. thanks for being a part of my life, and for allowing me to play a small role in yours. (: i pray that i have comforted you the same way you have comforted me, laughed with you and not at you, brought joy and smiles and happiness into your lives.. thank you all. love ya all loads.

sombre yet happy yet pissed.
rushed home to watch the pope's funeral today.. was a little draggy due to the large turnout for the requiem mass and the slow movement of the elderly cardinals. mmm.. first time seeing the priests from the eastern catholic church. i very much like the roman catholics more.. i think the eastern catholics are way too elaborate. loses the focus.. which is God and not gaudy robes.
was on the phone with pearl just now.. gonna set up handbell alumni! wheee.. not too soon though. but you can expect something coming up. we've got big plans but we're starting small first. (: mmm. pearl's coming over tomorrow morning so we can discuss the thing properly. (:
was talking to welyon just now.. he told me stuffs that really infuriated me.. about some j1 spreading some rumour.. if i find out that that really happened.. i'm gonna be really pissed at her and slap her real hard man. she hurt lala so bad. hrmpf. no. maybe i'll make her feel her wrong in some other way. when i think of something.. then i'll say. hah. for now.. i think i'd be better of cooling off..

just some thoughts.
i believe that all are capable of being nice to everyone.
it's just whether they want to or not.
well. let's all start now.
screw politics.
screw hatred.
let's all start to love.

hahahs.. wells. no matter how mean everyone is to you.. i guess it's your job to love them back. though it can get really hard. (: trust me i know. but in the end.. i guess love triumphs over all else, does it not? "love your enemies.." a charge to us by God.
seriously.. i think that the bible is like the best handbook on living and relationships. even the things that we find most incredulous have some element of truth in it. take for example.. "do not be yoked together with unbelievers. for what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? or what fellowship can light have with darkness?..." 2 corinthians 6:14-16 well.. i interpret it in a way that has to do with human relationships. more to the intimate ones. i think religious differences can sometimes set a huge rift between two people. because religion is such a personal thing.. and if both are pretty staunch believers of whatever they worship.. then i think both are unlikely to compromise.. so big piece of advice.. be of the same faith. (:
or how about this.."train a child the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it."proverbs 22:6 well.. my brother is one good example. my parents are very strict with us.. so we don't have much disciplinarial problems.. i hope. hahahs!
so if in any doubt, always refer to the best guidebook on life. oh. remember to pray first. when God leads you by the hand through all your questions.. you'll never cease to be amazed. (:
