that's exactly how i'm feeling right now. it seems like all my friends are going to faculty of arts and social sciences at nus or ntu accountancy or some bio course. and dear jeanetter right here knows enough people going to science with her that she can use her hands and count them all. let's see. gabriel cheow (in 2 years' time), zitian, whee geok. these are the only people i know who are confirm going to science. how about VCF? uhhh. me and me alone. am i going to join NUS Choir? i have no idea. mr kwei asked me to, but i haven't given him an answer yet.

then there's my granny. she's in hospital right now, having an op tomorrow morning. from what i hear, there's lots of risks involved for tomorrow's op. i'm trying to act like it's going to be okay, but deep down in me i'm all flustered. scared. very very scared. i don't want to lose her. she's looked after me ever since i can remember and i'd have to say that she's got lotsa patience when dealing with a naughty kid like me! all i want is for her to wake up after the op tomorrow. to recover. i want my granny.

i'm scared and lost. i need a hug. i need to hear that everything's going to be alright. so many changes going on in my life all at once, i'm not sure if i can cope.

Anyhows, ARISE is over! -breathes a sigh of relief- no more hectic rush to ARISE practices and rehearsals, though i must admit i'm a little sad. the ARISE family is so close and so wonderful, we've seen miracles happen together, and now that ARISE is over, we're parting ways again. But i thank God for every single person in ARISE. you have all blessed me in more ways than you can imagine, from the dancers, to the praisers, to the choir, to the crews, not forgetting uncle john [okay sometimes i call you pastor john too.] everyone. all of you are shining beacons. (((((:

today happened all too quickly. lots of kids were sick, but we still persevered on, and devil, here's a reminder that you're UNDER OUR FEET. yes you, because JESUS has triumphed. we have the victory! boo-hoo to you! so we still sang and danced and enjoyed ourselves while praising God.

When God is pleased, I am pleased.

Thank God for miraculous healing of many kids today, and 113 kids came to know christ in the afternoon session alone! (: Praise God! (:

  i worship a miracle-worker it's amazing how God can heal people. well, i think He's like a human mechanic - He made us, therefore only He knows what exactly is the matter. (:

had a bad cold, my fever was making me feel delirious (still a little groggy) and i can hardly stay awake for more than 2 hours at a go. when i went to the doctor's yesterday, my mum thought it to just be a normal fever, but apparently my temperature read 38.8 degrees. and when i was sleeping on the couch, i heard my mum say.. oh dear, your temperature's going up and up! so i suppose it shot past 39 degrees.. but anyhows, this morning when i woke up, poof it was gone! (: 36.8degrees. perfect. even so, i was still feeling unbalanced. when i was on stage with auntie cathie and the other ARISE people, there were several times when i felt like i was going to just pass out. but thank God, i didn't. was good! (:

~I realise that I've found some great friends and some not so great friends.
~I've got a long list people whom i look up to and admire.
~I've learnt so much from the ARISE! family. It's so great to be with people who constantly build you up. I love the ARISE! family (:

~Deep down inside, I'm still a kiddo.
~There's no such thing as "friends forever". Not on this earth anyway.

(: i love it when they're around. ooh and i made new friends today! haha. not exactly new, but yeah. always meet the dancers but we never really talk. so there's janice and joanne, rachel liu, rachel seah, faith, jared, alyssa, natalie tan and me. and auntie pauline and auntie jackie. this was the mini ARISE! team for GDOP. i heard that we did okay! haha!
